Ngoc Hoa, born in 1987, is the former captain of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team. After retiring, she switched to coaching at the VTV Binh Dien Long An youth team.
In 2024, at the age of 37, the legendary middle blocker of Vietnamese women's volleyball returned to compete when VTV Binh Dien Long An team needed to strengthen its personnel in the second phase of the national championship.
Although no longer at her peak, Ngoc Hoa still demonstrates her abilities, especially her experience and courage, guiding her juniors to defeat tough opponents. She is an important link, helping VTV Binh Dien Long An's playing style through smooth coordination with setter Kim Thoa.

Nguyen Linh Chi (Information Corps)
As a veteran setter of Vietnamese women's volleyball for many years, Nguyen Linh Chi got married and retired, moving into coaching in the past 2 years. In the 2024 season, the Information Corps team had difficulties in the setter position, so the former player born in 1990 returned to the lineup to compete with her juniors.
At the Hoa Lu - Binh Dien Cup, Hung Vuong Cup, phase 1, phase 2 and the final round of the 2024 National Volleyball Championship, Linh Chi still ensured her expertise, always completing her tasks every time she was put on the field to support setter Lam Oanh.
Although she is over 30 years old, Linh Chi still moves flexibly, has quick, accurate, and skillful passes. The female player from Phu Tho is the one who always encourages and lifts the spirit of her juniors on the field in difficult times.
With player Lam Oanh still having no successor in the setter position, Linh Chi still has the ability to play to support this position in the Information Corps squad at the beginning of the 2025 season.
Bui Thi Nga (Information Corps)
According to coach Pham Van Long of the Information Corps team, former player Bui Thi Nga has returned after a break. The team has created conditions for the player to practice with the first-line squad.
The former middle blocker born in 1994 will not be able to participate in the first phase of the 2025 national championship. The coaching staff of the army team will prepare Bui Thi Nga to ensure her physical strength to register in the second phase of the season.
This is good news for fans of the Information Corps women's team as well as Vietnamese volleyball fans because Bui Thi Nga is a face that left an impression during her peak years of competition.
With a height of 1m86, comprehensive skills, high hitting range and a blocking range of approximately 3m, she is considered one of the best blockers in the history of volleyball in the country. The Ninh Binh native has won many titles of "excellent blocker" in domestic and international tournaments.
With the presence of Bui Thi Nga, the attack of the Signal Corps will certainly be strengthened. From here, they can believe that the team can regain its position under coach Pham Van Long.
