In the 5th match, Bien Phong and Ho Chi Minh City Police brought a dramatic match. The Police sector team had a good start when controlling the game in the first 2 sets thanks to Ali Haghparast's stable scoring efficiency, thereby winning 25-22 and 25-21.

However, from set 3, Bien Phong made changes in personnel and playing style. This helped them improve their attacking ability and win 25-19, 25-23 respectively to bring the match into the decisive set.

At the crucial moment, Bien Phong maintained stability to win 15-13, ending the comeback with a final score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, The Cong Tan Cang defeated Ho Chi Minh City with a score of 3-1. After losing 16-25 in the first set, the soldier team adjusted tactics and regained the game, winning the next 3 sets with scores of 25-14, 25-23 and 25-14.

In addition, Da Nang also had a 3-0 victory over Sanest Khanh Hoa (25-23, 25-22, 25-19), while Hanoi defeated LPB Ninh Binh 3-1 (25-23, 23-25, 25-23, 25-23) to win their second victory since the beginning of the season.
