World ranking of Vietnam men's volleyball team

The Vietnamese men's volleyball team still holds 62nd place in the rankings of the International Volleyball Federation - FIVB.

On July 15, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team returned to the international arena, the first leg of the SEA V.Cup 2026 Tournament in the Philippines.

The tournament is recognized by FIVB for results to calculate ranking points for Southeast Asian teams.

We have not accumulated more points due to losing to the Thai men's team on the first day of competition. Therefore, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team is still outside the top 60 in the world.

The last time the Vietnamese men's volleyball team scored on the FIVB rankings was on July 20, 2025.

At that time, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team defeated the Philippines in the final match of stage 2 of the 2025 SEA V.League.

The Vietnamese men's volleyball team competed in SEA Games 33 in Thailand last year, but the tournament did not count accumulated points on the FIVB rankings.

The goal set by the coaching staff of the Vietnamese men's volleyball team in the first leg of the SEA V.Cup 2026 Tournament in the Philippines is to reach the final.
