According to Lao Dong's investigation, the plan to participate in ASIAD 20 for Vietnamese volleyball has been developed and will be reported in detail to the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism and the Vietnam Sports Administration to agree on funding to go to Japan to compete.
ASIAD 20 volleyball event organizes 4 events including men's indoor volleyball, women's indoor volleyball, men's beach volleyball and women's beach volleyball.
We participate in 4 events. Meaning, Vietnam Sports will send 4 national volleyball teams to Japan to compete.
However, some teams will participate with socialized funds from the Vietnam Volleyball Federation.
Currently, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team is training 28 players at Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports, while the Vietnamese men's volleyball team is training 19 players at the National High-Level Athlete Training Center.
The volleyball event of ASIAD 20 will take place from September 16 to October 3.
In which, the women's indoor volleyball event will compete from September 16 to September 22. After that, the men's indoor volleyball event will compete from September 27 to October 3.
Men's and women's beach volleyball ASIAD 20 is held from September 20 to October 3.
The teams have received achievement targets from the Vietnam Sports Administration and the Vietnam Volleyball Federation to come to ASIAD 20 to compete with the most concentration.
