In addition, the two head coaches of the Vietnam women's team and Vietnam U20 women's team, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Kiet and Mr. Nguyen Trong Linh, also lead the U23 VietinBank team and the U23 Information Corps team, respectively.
The participation of many national players and head coaches of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team in the 2024 National U23 Volleyball Tournament not only makes the tournament more exciting and attractive, but also makes the professional quality of the matches highly appreciated.
In recent matches, young players have shown their talents and become important scorers in the subjective club squad such as Quynh Huong (Information Corps), Dang Thi Hong (Thai Nguyen), Lan Vy (VTV Binh Dien Long An)...
The National U23 Tournament is an opportunity for players to compete, continue to compete, and accumulate experience to prepare for phase II of the national championship as well as international missions in 2025.
The players' professional results at the tournament in Bac Kan will be one of the bases for the Department of Sports and Physical Training and the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV) to select players to participate in two important tournaments next year, which are the World Championship and the U21 World Championship.
Vietnam women's volleyball team will have a full year to prepare for 2 world tournaments. In fact, VFV has given full authority to decide on the development of the professional plan for the national team and the national youth women's team to head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet. The professional plan will be developed by the coach born in 1976 and the coaching staff.
The coach born in 1976 once shared that there must be a plan to concentrate, practice and ensure time, and prepare early for the two national women's teams, especially the young players. Mr. Kiet always hopes to call up enough players so that people can mix and change each other through each specific tournament instead of just keeping 14 or 15 familiar players.
Therefore, the 2024 National U23 Tournament will be the last tournament for coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet to have an overall assessment and view of individuals in the national team, especially the Vietnam U20 team, thereby summarizing and having a plan to prepare for the professional plan in 2025.
