The time Bich Thuy played in Japan
Currently, middle blocker Tran Thi Bich Thuy is in Japan to join Okayama Seagulls club. The Vietnamese hitter appeared on the athletes' seats in the home team's latest match against Victorina Himeji (November 15) but has not registered to compete.
Previously, Vietnamese fans predicted that Bich Thuy would soon play on the field after getting into the rhythm with the whole team. However, according to many sources, it is likely that she will have to wait until the end of the 33rd SEA Games to be officially registered to compete with Okayama SeaGulls to compete in the Japan National Women's Volleyball Championship (SV.League).
The reason is that Bich Thuy joined the Japanese team late, so she will need more time to practice, get used to the intensity and prepare physically before officially debuting in the new jersey.
In the immediate future, Bich Thuy will practice in Japan, then return to Vietnam in December to join the national women's volleyball team in Vinh Long, before traveling to Thailand to participate in the 33rd SEA Games (from December 9 to December 20).
Thanh Thuy continues to shine
On the afternoon of November 16, Gunma Green Wings club won 3-0 in the 2025-2026 SV.League. Main striker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy is still the outstanding scorer of Gunma Green Wings. The Vietnamese hitter scored 12 points (11 attack points, 1 blocker point), achieving an efficiency of 44%.
She was the second top scorer for her home team in this match, after Niida Momoko. Thanh Thuy's stable performance helps the home team have consecutive victories, gradually improving their ranking and having more hope for this year's results.
