Kieu Trinh, Nhu Quynh shine
Today (October 1), the Vietnam women's volleyball team had their opening match against Indonesia in the 2025 SEA V.League. Accordingly, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet proactively put Bich Tuyen on the bench and used Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh.
The 2001-born setter had an impressive performance with a "teschool-standard" playing style, being delicate and decisive, contributing to the home team's victory. After 3 sets, Kieu Trinh scored 14 points - a quite impressive number for this female athlete.

In addition, another player who also shined was Vi Thi Nhu Quynh. Tuong Tu Bich Tuyen and Thanh Thuy only played for a short time and gave the playing field to the young main striker. Nhu Quynh also promoted her strengths with quality smashes, bringing 10 points to the Vietnam women's volleyball team.
On volleyball groups, fans gave many compliments to Nhu Quynh and Kieu Trinh, and at the same time expected both of them to continue to maintain their form in the following matches.
Indonesian fans love Quan Trong Nghia, Thanh Hai
Although the 2025 SEA V.League men's volleyball tournament ended nearly 2 weeks ago, Indonesian volleyball fans (host of the second round) still have a lot of affection for the Vietnam team, especially Quan Trong Nghia and Thanh Hai.
Accordingly, on the TikTok platform, many accounts from the archipelago posted videos recording the moment these two athletes competed and practiced, along with the hashtag "Handsome boy".

Notably, many audiences were waiting outside the stadium to ask for their autographs and take photos with the "idols".
At the 2025 SEA V.League, the Vietnam men's volleyball team made great progress when they won the bronze medal (stage 1) and the silver medal (stage 2). This is an impressive achievement for coach Tran Dinh Tien and his team, opening up opportunities for fair competition at the SEA Games taking place at the end of this year.
Bui Thi Nga is about to return?
Tomorrow (8.2) the volleyball friendly tournament within the framework of the "Journey to the Source" program will take place with 2 matches: The Cong Tan Cang - Border Guard (men) and Information Corps 1 - Information Corps 2.
Notably, in the registration list of the Information Corps 1 team, middle blocker Bui Thi Nga appeared. She will likely return to competition, considered an important stepping stone before the start of the second phase of the 2025 national championship.
Previously, in early June, Bui Thi Nga officially returned to practice with the team. Her appearance is lighting up hope for the army team in the championship competition.

With a height of 1m86, possessing a high-altitude playing style and good blocking, Bui Thi Nga is always a prominent name of the national women's volleyball team when competing at the top. The former Ninh Binh-born hitter has also been an excellent middle blocker for many years of Vietnamese women's volleyball.
She was with the national team to win 6th place at the 2018 ASIAD; 3 silver medals at the 2013, 2015, 2019 SEA Games and a bronze medal in 2017...
At the club level, Bui Thi Nga also held an irreplaceable position at the Information Corps when she was still playing. In 11 seasons of association, the middle blocker born in 1994 has contributed to 7 championships and 3 runner-up positions.
