The Department of Health also directed the Provincial General Hospital to deploy a mobile emergency point (in Suoi Lu village area, Xa Dung commune) to prepare conditions for human resources, equipment, medicine, and supplies to ensure emergency care for patients.
Accordingly, at around 7:20 p.m. on August 1, the medical force approached 2 cases of serious injuries in Xa Dung commune.
After receiving first aid on the spot, the patients were taken to the Mobile Emergency Point for monitoring and treatment.

In Tia Dinh commune, 3 seriously injured people were approached and given initial emergency care by the medical force.
However, due to the impact of floods and disruption of traffic, the medical team and functional forces had difficulty moving the 3 victims to the Mobile Emergency Point.
Present directly at the night in Tia Dinh commune on August 1, Mr. Lo Van Cuong - Vice Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee - directed the forces to continue clearing the road towards Tia Dinh commune, coordinating with the health sector to soon approach and pick up 3 seriously injured cases who are still stuck for timely treatment.

At around 1:40 a.m. on August 2, the rescue team approached and successfully moved 3 patients (2 females, 1 male) out of the isolated area.
Also according to the Dien Bien Department of Health, at around 3:00 a.m. on August 2, 3 patients in Tia Dinh Commune were taken to the Mobile Emergency Point (Suoi Lu Village, Xa Dung Commune) in quite serious condition.
Doctors at the Provincial General Hospital have examined and re-evaluated all damage, oxygen therapy, fluids, pain relief, internal resuscitation, and temporary wound treatment for patients.

The units are continuing to monitor the situation and implement treatment and health care plans for patients in accordance with the actual situation. At the same time, maintain the effectiveness of the Mobile Emergency Point, be ready to receive and provide initial emergency care to people in communes affected by floods and landslides.
As of 5:00 p.m. on August 1, Dien Bien had identified 7 deaths and 7 injuries, and 3 people are still missing. According to initial statistics, there were about 200 households with damaged houses, many schools, medical facilities, and traffic were damaged. Initial damage was estimated at about 100 billion VND.
