VTV Binh Dien Long An competes in Korea
According to the latest announcement from the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the 2026 Asian Volleyball Championship will officially kick off with the Asian Women's Club Championship, taking place in Goyang City (Korea).
The choice of Korea as host not only marks the return of a country rich in tradition, but also opens a year of vibrant competition in the AVC tournament system.
This is a rare time in many years that the Korean volleyball team has hosted a continental tournament, bringing with it the hope of reaffirming its position on the Asian women's volleyball map.

The representative of Vietnam participating in this tournament is VTV Binh Dien Long An - the reigning national champion. In the 2025 season, the Western team made a strong impression when they won the runner-up position, thereby having a place to participate in the World Club Championship. However, the fact that this tournament coincides with the 33rd SEA Games has caused VTV Binh Dien Long An to miss the world-class playground.
VTV Binh Dien Long An is expected to face a challenging journey when competing with a series of tough opponents from Kazakhstan (reigning champion), Thailand, China, Japan, host country Korea...

In the comments section, friends and fans left compliments about the female player's charisma. Everyone also gave Lam Oanh and the Vietnamese women's volleyball team a memorable journey at the Games held in Thailand.

At the 33rd SEA Games, Doan Thi Lam Oanh and Vo Thi Kim Thoa were two key passers, continuously sent onto the field by coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet depending on the time. For Lam Oanh, she is often arranged in the main squad for important matches.
The setter of the Information Corps team passed steadily and could support blocking the ball. Lam Oanh contributed to helping the Vietnamese women's volleyball team win the silver medal at the 33rd SEA Games.
