Tran Tu Linh actively trains
Main attacker Tran Tu Linh has not played in round 1 of the 2026 National Club Volleyball Championship. Currently, this former national team player is focusing on training to recover positively and return to competition soon.
Before round 1 of the 2026 National Club Volleyball Championship took place, Tu Linh was professionally prepared and participated in the village festival to get a competitive feeling.
However, she has not achieved her best physical condition. Therefore, Tu Linh did not compete with the Duc Giang Chemicals team. However, Tu Linh's physical recovery has progressed well in recent times.
Round 2 of the 2026 National Club Volleyball Championship will take place in October.
The opportunity for Tu Linh to return to playing volleyball at the highest level is still positive. The hitter suffered an injury after finishing the first round of the 2025 National Championship. She had to undergo surgery to completely treat the injury.
Due to needing time to recover after surgery, Tu Linh has not played officially in the past year. Recently, this main attacker has returned to training with the ball. Not playing in the past time, Tu Linh has not participated in the Vietnamese Women's Volleyball Team and is absent from SEA Games 33.
Ho Chi Minh City Volleyball Federation elects 17 Executive Committee members
The Ho Chi Minh City Volleyball Federation has elected a new Executive Committee at the first term Congress 2026-2031.
Also at the Congress, Mr. La Quoc Khanh was elected to hold the role of Chairman of the Federation. The Executive Committee also appointed Mr. Ha Vu Son to take on the role of Secretary General.
Currently, Ho Chi Minh City volleyball has a movement of training and coaching at many clubs in the city.
In which, Ho Chi Minh City has 2 teams participating in the 2026 National Club Championship, which are the Ho Chi Minh City men's team and the Ho Chi Minh City Police men's team. The Ho Chi Minh City women's volleyball team is participating in the 2026 National League A.
Key tasks set by the Ho Chi Minh City Volleyball Federation to be implemented in the first term include focusing on developing the movement, promoting school volleyball as well as having effective competition models;
Improve the quality of high-performance professional training for coaches, athletes, referees; Find sustainable socialized resources, diversify sponsorship sources and digital transformation in volleyball activities;
Building a long-term strategy, becoming the success of the Ho Chi Minh City Volleyball Academy.
Best player of VTV Cup 2025 enters Russian women's national team
The Russian national women's volleyball team has just listed 34 players to gather for 2026. Notably, main hitter Elizaveta Nesterova is named in the list.
Striker Elizaveta Nesterova used to play in Vietnam in 2 VTV Cup 2024, 2025 seasons. Here, this face both received the title of Best Player of the tournament.
Elizaveta Nesterova is 20 years old this year, has a height of 1m92 and wears the Korabelka women's team jersey.
Currently, the Russian national women's volleyball team has not finished the international ban from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). However, the coaching staff still makes a preliminary list of players for professional training.
