Bich Thuy receives honor

Recently, middle blocker Tran Thi Bich Thuy received new joy while competing in the Japanese national volleyball championship. She was chosen by her managing team Okayama Seagull as the representative face in the campaign to call on fans to come to the stadium to watch the match.

In the video posted by Okayama Seagull on the team's official channels, Bich Thuy made a call in Vietnamese and accompanied by a Japanese translation. She said that she will try her best in both attacking and blocking. The Vietnamese hitter also hopes that fans will come to the stadium to cheer for the whole team in the upcoming matches.

Not only appearing on promotional videos, Bich Thuy is also 1 of 3 players selected by Okayama Seagull to participate in the local television program "Pirittto Saturday".

Tianjin Volleyball Cup 2026 has changes

The Tianjin Volleyball Cup 2026 will kick off in May in Ho Chi Minh City. The tournament is expected to become one of the most anticipated amateur sports events for students this year.

Due to the increased number of registrations from student teams immediately after a short period of information announcement, the organizers decided to adjust the competition content and participants.

The tournament organizes men's volleyball content with participants being students not over 24 years old nationwide and with school confirmation. In particular, the organizing committee decided to completely waive registration fees, creating maximum conditions for the school movement and encouraging students to participate.

The registration portal for the tournament will be open from February 25th to March 31st, creating wide opportunities for student teams across the country.
