Libero in the men's team injured
On the afternoon of July 10, the Vietnam men's volleyball team won 3-0 against Cambodia in the second match of the first leg of the 2025 SEA V.League. However, coach Tran Dinh Tien received bad news about his personnel.
Accordingly, in set 2 when the score was 14-12 in favor of the Vietnam team, in a celebratory situation, Quoc Du accidentally kicked the foot of libero Cao Duc Hoang. This situation left Duc Hoang unable to move, causing pain on the field.
After that, this libero had to ask for support from his teammates to leave the field and could not continue playing. It is likely that Cao Duc Hoang's shirt was overturned.

The severity of Cao Duc Hoang's injury is not yet clear, but if this player cannot continue playing in the first phase, it will be a big disadvantage for the Vietnam men's volleyball team. At that time, coach Tran Dinh Tien will have one libero player left, Trinh Duy Phuc.

Vietnam men's team promoted
The Vietnam men's volleyball team has only participated in two matches in the first phase of the 2025 SEA V.League. After a 0-3 loss to the Philippines in the opening match, coach Tran Dinh Tien and his team were deducted 8.15 points to 65 points.
However, after a 3-0 victory over Cambodia in the second match, the Vietnam men's volleyball team has been awarded 7.74 points to rise to 61st place in the rankings.
This is a great source of motivation for Ngoc Thuan and his teammates before entering the match against Thailand at 5:00 p.m. on July 11.
