On May 31, 2018, the valuation unit provided the Vietnam Airports Authority with a Valuation Certificate (Certificate No. 01/CTTD-VNG), determining the value of the property ( Boeing B727-200 aircraft abandoned at Noi Bai International Airport) as: 1,762,000,000 VND.

In fact, during this period, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has issued a report proposing:

The auction in the form of scrap iron and the determination of the starting price of this auctioned asset (scrap iron) were proactively organized by the Vietnam Airports Authority to quickly move abandoned aircraft, removing difficulties for the operation of Noi Bai International Airport.

Using aircraft for the purpose of: being a learning tool or serving a counter-terrorism drill in civil aviation activities.

The plan to move to the South will cost 8.7 billion to 9.6 billion

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, if the assets are transferred to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, there are 2 options.

Option 1: Installation location in Khanh Hoa province. Option 2: in Dong Nai province.

The competent authority calculates the expected cost of dismantling, transportation, installation, and handover completion: from VND 8,740,000,000 (option 1) to VND 9,660,000,000 (option 2).

Since receiving the decision to hand over the assets, which are aircraft, from the competent authority, the Academy has coordinated with the agency with the assets handed over to receive the Boeing 727-200 aircraft.

Hire survey units to develop feasible solutions to dismantle and move to the facilities of HKVN Academy in Cam Ranh.

The dismantling plan is as follows: Disassemble the wing of the aircraft; disassemble the engine of the aircraft; separate the tail of the aircraft; disassemble the balance at the aircraft's surface; disassemble the wing of the aircraft; Disassemble the fuse of the aircraft; disassemble the rear of the aircraft.

The transportation plan is as follows:

Option 1:

Road and waterway transportation: Transporting aircraft equipment after separating the parts (Using 05 cars with a 40-foot tractor-trailer to lift the equipment onto the vehicle and onto the train).

Road transport routes: From Noi Bai International Airport to Hai Phong Seaport and from Cam Ranh Seaport to Cam Ranh International Airport.

Waterway transportation route: From Hai Phong Seaport to Cam Ranh Seaport (Using a 20,000 kg cargo watercraft).

Option 2: Road and waterway transportation.

Transporting the aircraft's equipment after disassemble the parts (Using 5 4-foot moored tractor-trailers to lift the equipment onto the vehicle and onto the train).

Road transport routes: From Noi Bai International Airport to Hai Phong Seaport and from Cai Mep - Thi Vai Port; Ba Ria - Vung Tau to Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province.

Waterway transportation routes: From Hai Phong Seaport to Cai Mep - Thi Vai Port; Ba Ria - Vung Tau (using a 20,000 kg cargo watercraft).

The assembly plan is as follows: Assembly the fuse; assemble the aircraft package; assemble the wing; assemble the aircraft deck; assemble the aircraft balance at the aircraft level; assemble the aircraft engine; assemble the aircraft rear.

The installation plan is as follows: Soften the aircraft model's support stand with reinforced concrete with a floor area of about 300m2.
