Recently, the Gunma Green Wings team (Japan) announced that Thanh Thuy will be in their squad to compete in the 2025-2026 National Volleyball Championship. The captain of the Vietnam women's volleyball team will wear the number 16 shirt.
However, according to the representative of Binh Dien Long An Sports One Member Co., Ltd. (the unit managing VTV Binh Dien Long An team - Thanh Thuy's management team), the signing of the contract between Thanh Thuy and Gunma Green Wings team has not yet taken place.
Information about Thanh Thuy's trip abroad will be announced by VTV Binh Dien Long An team after the contract is officially signed between the parties.
It is likely that the working contract between the two sides will be 1 season. After that, the contract term will be calculated further depending on Thanh Thuy's ability to meet professional requirements.
Changes in SEA V.League prize level for men
This year, the SEA V.League men's volleyball tournament has 5 participating teams when a new team competed, Cambodia. According to Mr. Ramon Tats Suzara - President of the Philippine Volleyball Federation and the Asian Volleyball Confederation, due to the increase in the number of participating teams, the bonus level of the 2025 SEA V.League for men will also change.
Accordingly, the amount of money for the champion team was reduced. This year's champion team will receive 13,000 USD, the next rankings are 12,000 USD (runner-up), 11,000 USD (third place), 10,000 USD (quarters place) and 900 USD (fifth place).
This figure is significantly decreased compared to the 17,000 USD that Indonesia received when winning the 2023 SEA V.League and the 16,000 USD that the Thai men's volleyball team received after winning the 2024 SEA V.League.
