Vietnam has 3 representatives attending FIVB's level 1 coaching course
The level 1 coaching course of the World Volleyball Federation - FIVB is officially held at the FIVB Volleyball Development Center located in Bangkok (Thailand).
This year, the course attracts 45 students who are volleyball coaches from 14 member volleyball federations of the Asian Volleyball Federation.
In which, the participating force includes 11 female coaches and 34 male coaches.
The representative of Vietnam has 3 coaches participating in the course. 1 of them is coach Vo Van Tan of the Ho Chi Minh City youth women's volleyball team.
The program of the class lasts 5 concentrated days (expected to end on June 16) under the teaching of FIVB volleyball expert, Mr. David Smith.
Students will participate in contents related to theory and practice. In which, the program will bring basic knowledge in physical education to achieve efficiency when training volleyball techniques.
Every year, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation sends coaches to participate in professional classes organized by the Asian Volleyball Federation and the World Volleyball Federation.
At this year's course, in addition to Vietnam's representative, the number of participating coaches came from Canada, England, Hong Kong (China), China, India, Japan, Nepal, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan (China), Ukraine, America and Thailand.
Owner Elizaveta Nesterova can continue to go to Vietnam
The player who has twice received the title of Best Athlete of the VTV Cup in 2024 and 2025, Elizaveta Nesterova, is expected to continue to be in the Korabelka (Russia) team squad to Vietnam this year.
Korabelka team is 1 of 7 guests participating in VTV Cup 2026. The tournament will be held at Vinh Yen Gymnasium (Phu Tho) from August 8 to August 15.
Currently, 8 teams (including host Vietnam) have not yet determined the official squad for this year's tournament.
Recently, Elizaveta Nesterova was included in the preliminary list for the 2026 Russian Women's Volleyball Team gathering.
Although the Russian team has not yet participated in official international tournaments, the focus on professional preparation is still being carried out.
