The competition program attracted 8 participating teams including: U18 Thailand (host), U18 Vietnam, U18 Philippines, U18 Australia, U18 Myanmar, U18 Singapore, U18 Malaysia and U18 Indonesia.
The Vietnam Volleyball Federation has just decided to replace the head coach of the Vietnam U18 Women's Volleyball Team.

The coaching staff of the Vietnam U18 Women's Volleyball Team has completed the registration of 14 official players with the Organizing Committee of the tournament, including: Bui Thi Anh Thao, Nguyen Mai Quynh, Bui Thi Huyen, Nguyen Cham Anh (main attacker); Nguyen Khanh Linh, Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi (opposite hitter); Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang, Do Que Tran (secondary hitter); Le Thuy Linh, Trinh Huynh Bao Ngoc, Le Thi Kim Thu, Vu Mai Ngan (middle hitter) and Quach Thi Hoai An, Le Thi Hang (libero). On June 21, the players will go to Thailand to play.
After the 2026 Southeast Asian U18 Women's Championship, the team continues to stay in Thailand to compete in the 2026 Asian U18 Women's Championship.
The list of 14 players mentioned above has been registered with the Asian Volleyball Federation.
According to the plan, after 2 international tournaments, members of the Vietnam U18 Women's Volleyball Team will finish their tasks in 2026 to return to their managing units.
The team's goal is to focus on competing to find the best results at the 2026 AFC U18 Women's Championship to compete for a spot in the 2027 FIFA U19 Women's World Championship.
