Thanh Thuy firmly in the world's top 10
According to the latest update from Volleybox, striker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy currently has 317.85 points on the FIVB's rankings. With this score, the captain of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team is ranked 9th in the list of the best female strikers in the world in 2025.
This is a worthy achievement for Thanh Thuy's efforts. She has proven her impressive return after a period of treatment for a knee injury. Thanh Thuy is both the spiritual leader and a sharp attacker of the national women's team in the tournaments in the first half of 2025.

Men's team prepares to end training

In phase 1 of 2025, coach Tran Dinh Tien's team will participate in 3 international tournaments including AVC Champions League 2025, AVC Nations Cup and SEA V.League 2025. The competition training program at this stage is part of the preparation plan for the force to participate in the 33rd SEA Games, taking place in December in Thailand.
The players will return to their home team. The Vietnam men's volleyball team has developed a training plan in 2 phases. The second phase of the training session is expected to take place in October (after the 2025 National Volleyball Championship ends).
Thanh Hai receives attention
Nguyen Thanh Hai is one of 16 players of the Vietnam men's volleyball team participating in the SEA V.League 2025. Recently, a video appeared on social media recording the moment Thanh Hai and Quan Trong Nghia attracted attention.
Accordingly, the two male players of Vietnam are noticed and affectionate by fans. Thanh Hai and Quan Trong Nghia stayed behind after a match to take photos and sign for fans present at the stadium.
This is understandable because these are two players with handsome, tall appearances, white skin and are often called the "male gods" of Vietnamese men's volleyball.
