On July 18, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the additional admission scores (phase 2) for grade 10 of non-professional public high schools in the 2025-2026 school year.
In this list, there is a school in the top group, Yen Hoa High School. Accordingly, this school lowered its benchmark score from 25 to 24.5.
Except for Yen Hoa High School, most schools with the lowest admission scores for grade 10 public high school in the second period have an average score of about 5-6 points/subject such as Quang Oai High School, Tan Lap High School, Phuc Tho High School, Kim Anh High School and Tung Thien High School.
My Duc C High School and Xuan Khanh High School have the lowest additional admission score of (1 wish (12 points).
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training notes: Students who are eligible for admission according to regulations but do not pass the newly registered entrance exams are allowed to register for admission to one of the four high schools: Minh Quang, Phuc Loi, Phuc Thinh, and Do Muoi.
The system allows students to change their wishes to register for admission before 7:00 p.m. on July 22, 2025.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training said that when the benchmark is lowered, the school will be allowed to admit students with 1 wish, 2 wishes, 3 wishes if conditions are met to be admitted.
Students who are admitted to the supplementary level of wishes must have an admission score of at least 1.0 points higher than the school's admission standard; students who are admitted to the supplementary level of wishes must have an admission score of at least 2.0 points higher than the school's additional admission standard.
Admission for students admitted according to additional admission scores is done directly at high schools (according to office hours). Time from 8:00 a.m. on July 19 to 5:00 p.m. on July 22.
(*) Minh Quang High School is allowed to enroll additional students in the whole city for students who are eligible for admission but do not pass the admission for registered candidates and have an admission score of 12.00 points or more (ortage target: 63 students).
(*) Phuc Loi High School is allowed to enroll additional students in the whole city for students who are eligible for admission but do not pass the admission for registered wishes and have an admission score of 16.50 points or more (shortage of requests: 103 students).
