Reasons why Duc Giang Chemicals participates in Asian tournament
Duc Giang Chemicals and LPB Ninh Binh are the two representatives of Vietnam participating in the 2024 Asian Club Volleyball Championship. Initially, Vietnam only had LPB Ninh Binh participating as the reigning national champion. However, at the last minute, Duc Giang Chemicals became the second team of Vietnam to participate.
Explaining this story, Mr. Chanrit Wongprasert, Honorary Vice President and CEO of AVC said: "Duc Giang Chemicals was the team that submitted the application the fastest, their enthusiasm and quickness made us allow Vietnam to participate with 2 teams".
Regarding the tournament being brought to Thailand this year, this leader said that AVC and Volleyball World Company are the units in charge of communication, marketing and finding a host for this year's tournament. However, until the last moment, no country was suitable for the criteria, President of the Volleyball Federation of Thailand Somporn designated the tournament to be held in Nakhon Ratchasima.
