Bich Tuyen firmly in the world top 6
According to the latest ranking of Volleybox, Bich Tuyen is ranked 15th in the list of the best female volleyball players in the world in 2024. In the opposite position alone, the LPB Ninh Binh hitter is ranked 5th among the best players this year.
This is the 11th consecutive week that Bich Tuyen has maintained her position in the top 6 best female setters in the world in 2024 after the first time on October 5.
This is completely understandable when the Vinh Long setter has always maintained her form in the tournaments she has participated in. Most recently, at the 2024 Asian Club Championship, although LPB Ninh Binh did not pass the group stage (losing 3 matches, not winning any sets), Bich Tuyen still left her mark when she scored a total of 46 points after 3 matches against NEC Red Rockets, Imoco and Dentil Praia.
VTV Binh Dien Long An faces difficulties in Asian tournament
With the 2024 national championship, VTV Binh Dien Long An is the representative of Vietnamese women's volleyball to participate in the 2025 Asian Club Championship. The tournament is scheduled to take place from April 20 to April 27.
According to multiple sources, the Asian Volleyball Confederation has proposed that South Korea host the tournament next year. This means that the land of kimchi will have at least one representative participating in the Asian Club Championship next year.
If the Korea Volleyball Federation agrees to this proposal, Korean women's volleyball will return to the continent's highest level of play at the club level after the 2024 season is absent.
Thus, VTV Binh Dien Long An is predicted to face many difficulties when next year's tournament will gather the top clubs in the continent. They all possess quality domestic and foreign players.
Fans are eagerly waiting for the Western team to successfully borrow the stars of PFU BlueCats (Japan) thanks to the close cooperation between the two sides, thereby helping VTV Binh Dien Long An have the opportunity to compete for achievements in the 2025 Asian Club Championship.
