The Government Inspectorate has just announced the Inspection Conclusion on the inspection of state management of irrigation, dikes and natural disaster prevention and control at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
At the announcement ceremony on December 18, Mr. Vu Quoc Cong - Senior Inspector, Deputy Director of Department I, Head of the Inspection Delegation - announced the full text of Conclusion No. 495/KL - TTCP of the Government Inspectorate.
Speaking at the announcement of the inspection conclusion, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Hoang Hiep accepted the entire content of the inspection conclusion. He said that state management of irrigation, dikes and natural disaster prevention and control is a large field, receiving large investment but scattered across provinces and cities.
The inspection team, with its scientific working methods, got to the bottom of the matter, especially pointed out the causes of existing limitations and responsibilities of relevant groups and individuals.
The Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development agreed with the entire content of the Inspection Conclusion. Especially the issues that the Inspection Team recommended that ministries and branches, including the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, need to be addressed immediately.
Based on the Inspection Conclusion, the leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development have directed the Ministry Inspectorate to draft a plan to implement the Inspection Conclusion. Accordingly, it is expected that in the first quarter of 2025, relevant collectives and individuals will be reviewed.
Regarding institutional remedies, the Ministry is allowed to extend the content longer than other contents because the upcoming merger of units will result in changes to legal documents and regulations.
Representatives of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee, Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee and related units said they will seriously implement the Government Inspectorate's Inspection Conclusion on state management of irrigation, dykes and natural disaster prevention and control at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Director of the Department of Supervision, Appraisal, and Post-Inspection Handling (Department V), Government Inspectorate requested units to strictly implement the contents that the Government Inspectorate has recommended in the Inspection Conclusion. At the same time, he noted that agencies and units that are subject to inspection must, within 15 days from the date of announcement of the Inspection Conclusion, make a plan to implement the Inspection Conclusion.
