Bich Tuyen appears in rap lyrics
Recently, in the show Round 7 of the entertainment show Rap Viet, coach Karik gave his students the topic of expressing gratitude to Vietnamese women, encouraging and cheering on those who always try to cope with the rules of society.
"Xa Vibes" is the new rap song by Danmy in Karik's team. Notably, the rap lyrics mention the opposing setter Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
The lyrics say: "How many stone floors have been measured for the strength of the blows. How many times have the body been in pain to exchange for the Bronze Cup. Shout down (in this sentence means: respect) for volleyball with star Bich Tuyen. The desire will be as long as it overcomes the barriers of prejudice".
With her tomboyish appearance and strong playing style on the court, opposite Bich Tuyen is easily criticized. However, she still plays impressively, becoming the number 1 best player of Vietnamese women's volleyball in 2024.
VietinBank replaces foreign players
The VietinBank women's team had to replace a foreign player due to an injury to Croatian hitter Katarina Pilepic. The chosen player was Thai foreign player Papatchaya Phontham. This player has now arrived in Vietnam, joined the team and trained with the Banking team.
Papatchaya Phontham is not a stranger to Vietnamese volleyball. She once came to Vietnam with the Thai U20 women's volleyball team to compete in the VTV9 - Binh Dien Cup 2024 (May 2024). This hitter also joined the Thai U20 team to face the Vietnamese U20 team in the 2024 Asian Youth Women's Championship (June 2024).
Papatchaya Phontham is considered one of the promising young talents of Thai women's volleyball.

According to Mr. Le Minh Ha - Director of the Vietnam Center for Doping and Sports Medicine, in 2024, there is no plan to collect doping samples for athletes at the national volleyball championship. Therefore, it is almost certain that there will be no doping sample collection for players in the second phase of the 2024 national volleyball championship.
Up to now, doping testing has never been carried out at the national volleyball championship. According to the regulations, these are requirements that must be implemented. Therefore, it is likely that in the future, managers will have a specific plan to conduct sampling in the following seasons.
Phase 2 of the 2024 National Volleyball Championship will start with the women's event from November 7 to November 17 in Lao Cai, and the men's event from November 21 to December 1 in Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
