The physical condition of the women's team
Ahead of the AVC Nations Cup 2025, the Vietnam women's volleyball team will be trained with just enough weight to avoid being too tense and avoiding unnecessary injuries.
In addition to the professional tactical and physical exercises of the experts, the 14 players still perform each training session with heavy weights to ensure the required weight.
According to fitness expert Karl Lim, the players are doing well the exercises set by the coaching staff. Accumulating physical strength helps players have better endurance.

AVC Nations Cup 2025 will take place at Dong Anh District Gymnasium, Hanoi. The Vietnam women's volleyball team participated in the tournament as the host team as well as the defending champion of the tournament.
Currently, the teams have started moving here to prepare for the tournament which will kick off on June 7.
Setter Kim Thoa said: "We hope to continue to be enthusiastically cheered by the audience here. This stadium is always packed with fans. Playing in this atmosphere is very fun".
In March, Dong Anh District Gymnasium was the starting point of the first phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship.
With a capacity of about 2,500 seats, during the tournament days, thousands of spectators came to buy tickets, filling the stands, creating a passionate atmosphere.
Although newly put into operation, Dong Anh District Gymnasium meets the requirements to organize a professional tournament. Above all, this is a locality with a famous tradition of volleyball in the country.

Philippines team arrives in Vietnam
Today (October 4), the Philippine women's volleyball team arrived in Vietnam, ready to participate in the AVC Nations Cup 2025. This team brings a quality squad.
Although Tran Thi Thanh Thuy's close friend Valdez and Sisi Rondina are not present, opposite setter Alyssa Solomon - the "new pearl" of Philippine women's volleyball is still participating.
At the 2024 SEA V.League, Solomon beat Bich Tuyen to win the Best Opposite Setter award. Therefore, in the upcoming AVC Nations Cup 2025, she is also Bich Tuyen's opponent to compete for this title.
The goal of the Philippine women's volleyball team is to successfully defend the bronze medal won at the AVC Challenge Cup 2024. With the balance of power with the opponents in this tournament, the above goal is completely feasible.
