VTV Binh Dien Long An loans young stars
Recently, many sources said that VTV Binh Dien Long An volleyball club has lent young setter Le Le Bach Hop to LPB Ninh Binh team. This contract is expected to last until the end of the 2025 season.
The 2006-born setter can still play against his home team if LPB Ninh Binh and VTV Binh Dien Long An face each other this season.
Le Le Bach Hop is a talented setter of Vietnamese women's volleyball. In 2024, she and the youth team of VTV Binh Dien Long An won the 2024 National Youth Championship (Bach Hop was the best setter) and the 2024 National U23 Volleyball Championship.
Bich Thuy received special compliments
Middle blocker Tran Thi Bich Thuy had a successful debut match for GS Caltex Seoul Kixx in the Korean National Volleyball Championship when she scored 5 points (2 attack points, 1 block point, 2 serve points), helping her team win 3-2 against the top team Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders.
This result also helped coach Lee Young-taek and his team end a streak of 14 consecutive losses, earning their second win in this year's tournament.
After the match, coach Lee Young-taek burst into tears because of his team's victory. He also shared about the middle blocker from Vietnam. Coach Lee Young-taek said: "We have only been practicing together for 10 days. I was very worried and stressed, but Thuy has integrated very well.
She showed some quick shots and her blocking ability was also quite good. Thuy scored 2 service points and also made a decisive block. I think, if we cooperate in the future, my team will definitely have a good force."
Venue of phase 1 of the national championship
According to the plan for organizing volleyball tournaments in 2025 issued by the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV), the 2025 national championship will maintain the same format as last year's season when teams compete in a round robin to calculate points, the top 4 teams will enter the semi-finals, and the bottom 4 teams will compete in the relegation round.
The location and time have also been finalized. Phase 1 (from March 22 to March 31) will take place in Dong Anh, Hanoi. Phase 2 (from October 10 to October 19) will be in Ninh Binh. Compared to previous years, the most surprising change is that both the men's and women's tournaments will compete at the same time and location.
