VTV Binh Dien Long An does not lend players
A representative of the VTV Binh Dien Long An women's volleyball team said that the club's coaching staff has developed a professional plan to prepare for the 2025 national volleyball championship.
This year, the Western team still has midfielder Dang Thi Kim Thanh playing in the team. This player will not play for any team in the A-League like last season.
In 2024, Dang Thi Kim Thanh was loaned by VTV Binh Dien Long An to the Ho Chi Minh City women's team to compete in the final round of the 2024 National A-League. At the end of this final round, the Ho Chi Minh City women's team won the championship and won a place in the 2025 National Volleyball Championship.
Thanh Thuy received a "shower" of compliments
Tran Thi Thanh Thuy had a successful debut match for her new team Gresik Petrokimia Pupuk at the Indonesian National Women's Volleyball Championship. The Vietnamese spiker played excellently, helping her team win 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-20) against Jakarta Pertamina Enduro.
She was the top scorer for Gresik Petrokimia with 14 points (13 attack points, 1 ace serve, 52% scoring efficiency). Thanh Thuy was also the second highest scorer in the match, just behind Nadila Leona of Jakarta Pertamina with 15 points.
With this performance, Thanh Thuy received a storm of compliments from Indonesian volleyball fans through comments on social media platforms X (formerly Twitter) or Instagram.
"The girl from Vietnam is worth watching. A very well-rounded striker (although not at 100% of her potential), good defense, good attack, and good serve too."
"The combination between 4T and Kitania (Medina) is very good, the experienced players and the young faces also have equal expertise," some comments said.
Vietnam continues to host SEA V.League
The Southeast Asian Volleyball Federation has designated Thailand and Vietnam as the two host countries for each round of the SEA V.League for women. Ninh Binh is the location chosen by the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV) to host one of the two rounds of the tournament.
Choosing Ninh Binh, instead of familiar locations such as Vinh Phuc (which hosted two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024) shows VFV's efforts in expanding the scope of organizing international tournaments, contributing to promoting the tourism and cultural image of Ninh Binh province throughout the region.
