Middle blocker Ly Thi Luyen has officially gone to Mongolia and started practicing with the Hobby Ace volleyball team to find an opportunity to play officially on November 1.
She is expected to compete for one season at the Mongolian Women's Volleyball Championship (until February 2026). Thus, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team recorded more professional positivity by Ly Thi Luyen playing football in Mongolia.
Previously, Ly Thi Luyen grew up at a young age and was a member of the first team of Duc Giang Chemicals, then achieved professional results for herself.
Currently, Vietnamese women's volleyball has striker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy competing for Gunma Green Wings in the Japanese national championship. In addition to her, middle blocker Tran Thi Bich Thuy also reached an agreement to play for the Okayama Seagulls team in Japan.
Meanwhile, the main striker Vi Thi Nhu Quynh will go abroad in December to wear the Yogya Falcons (Indonesia) shirt. This is one of the rare periods when Vietnamese women's volleyball in particular has many players going abroad. Experts recognize that the image of Vietnamese women's volleyball is of great value in Southeast Asia.
Previously, our female players often went to Thailand to compete. Typically, coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa (when competing) left her mark in the Thai National Championship.
After her, many other hitters went to Thailand such as Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, Do Thi Minh, Dinh Thi Tra Giang... Players Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh and Doan Thi Lam Oanh went to Thailand to compete in early 2024. Tran Thi Bich Thuy even had a period of competition in Thailand before going to Korea (early 2025) and now to Japan.
Vietnamese volleyball experts assess that each player going abroad will have the opportunity to develop their skills.
Above all, they represent the country's volleyball to have a good image against foreign players. When the performance of Vietnamese female players is effective, each person contributes to helping international volleyball managers know more about Vietnamese sports.
After the match against the Polish Women's Team at this year's 2025 World Championship, the two players Tran Thi Bich Thuy and Vi Thi Nhu Quynh received compliments from the coaching staff of this team. This shows that foreign experts are still paying attention to Vietnamese players if they play at their best.
