Following the success of the two stages in Luang Prabang (Laos) and Hanoi (Vietnam), the Angkor Wat stage is expected to have the participation of 9,000 athletes from many countries and territories around the world, including track and field athletes from countries in the region.
The Viettel Marathon in Siem Reap, Cambodia takes place at the most beautiful time of the year. The organizers have chosen a flat route with few curves to help athletes achieve good results and experience the world wonder complex of Angkor Wat.

The Viettel Marathon races held in each country will apply an attractive prize structure, increasing the chance of winning prizes for athletes in many categories, including 78 individual prizes and 50 collective prizes.
In which, the organizing committee will divide the competition into two systems including the advanced system: for international team athletes invited by the organizing committee; athletes of the national team of Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia..
The amateur category is open to all athletes not included in the above categories, with prizes awarded in 4 age groups for the full marathon (42km) and half marathon (21km), with no age groups for the 10km and 5km.
Viettel Marathon 2024 is the first international sporting event to be held in three Indochinese countries. The tournament is organized by the Vietnam Athletics Federation in collaboration with the Cambodian Athletics Federation and the Lao Athletics Federation.
Viettel Marathon 2024 will be held in 3 stages in 3 countries: Laos stage on November 3, 2024; Vietnam stage on December 1, 2024 and coming up is Cambodia stage on December 22, 2024.
All routes of Viettel Marathon 2024 meet AAA standards. This is also a race with the highest prize fund of up to 150,000 USD with many diverse prize categories.
