After investigation, hitter Dang Thi Hong returned to her home team Thai Nguyen. Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and the Vietinbank team are practicing in Hanoi to prepare for the second phase of the 2025 National Championship but have not added players in the main striker position. The Vietinbank team is expected to arrive in Ninh Binh at the end of September.
Earlier this year, Nhu Quynh and Dang Thi Hong were the two players who signed contracts to compete for the Vietinbank team in the 2025 National Volleyball Championship.
Currently, the main striker Vi Thi Nhu Quynh is practicing with the Vietinbank team to prepare for the second phase.
The domestic players registered by Vietinbank to participate in the first phase are Ton Thi Minh Thu, Ha Kieu Vy, Tran Thi Phuong, Tran Thi Hue, Nguyen Phuong Quynh, Le Thi Phuong Anh, Nguyen Thi Ninh Anh, Dinh Thi Tra Giang, Nguyen Minh Thu, Hoang Thi Phuong Anh, Bui Hai Yen, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, Bui Thi Hong Tham and Dang Thi Hong.
The goal of the Vietinbank team is to reach the finals of the 2025 National Championship. The team is temporarily in 4th place with 3 wins and 2 losses. Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his players will meet Long Son Thanh Hoa Cement and Hung Yen in the upcoming phase 2.
Dang Thi Hong is managed by the Thai Nguyen women's volleyball team. Before playing for the Vietinbank team, player Dang Thi Hong played for LPBank Ninh Binh at the 2024 National Championship.
Through research, players have the orientation to study at university majoring in sports if they no longer have the opportunity to compete in tournaments in the national system.
