Dang Thi Hong is supported to go to school
According to Lao Dong, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV) will create conditions for striker Dang Thi Hong to study at Bac Ninh Sports and Physical Training University, opening up opportunities to become a coach if she is determined to pursue a new path. This is considered a positive direction after the incident in her playing career.

Previously, on September 11, Dang Thi Hong received the decision not to compete in official tournaments of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation, after receiving a notice from the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB).
This decision took effect immediately, meaning that she could not participate in the second phase of the 2025 national championship (starting in October 2025) and tournaments under the VFV system.
This affected Dang Thi Hong's peak career. However, she can still continue to be associated with volleyball by returning to Thai Nguyen club as an assistant coach.
Thailand earns huge profits from the world tournament
The 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship has brought Thailand huge economic profits. This is a tournament that the Vietnam women's team also participated in.
According to a report from the Thai Ministry of Tourism and Sports, this event has created a total economic value of up to 8.4 billion baht, equivalent to more than 7,000 billion VND in Vietnam.

Of which, the largest revenue comes from international television rights with more than 1.3 billion viewers worldwide, bringing in about 5.6 billion baht (equivalent to 4,660 billion VND).
Domestic event organization and spending activities also contributed nearly 2.1 billion baht, while domestic and international tourism contributed to creating an additional 768 million baht in revenue.
The success of the tournament is assessed by FIVB as the best ever, both in terms of organization and communication effects. For the Vietnam women's team, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team stopped at the group stage after 3 consecutive losses.
