The Vietnam Volleyball Federation decided to change the competition schedule with a new time 3 days earlier than the original plan. The announcement has been sent to 16 teams of the 2025 National Championship.
The new competition schedule for phase 2 will be from October 7 to October 16. Previously, the original schedule was from October 10 to October 19. The matches for men and women will still be played unchanged in the previously determined order.
The second phase of the tournament brings together 8 men's teams including Border Guard MB, The Cong Tan Cang, Ho Chi Minh City Police, Da Nang, Tay Ninh, Hanoi, Sanest Khanh Hoa and LPBank Ninh Binh (host). The 8 women's teams that will compete include VTV Binh Dien Long An, Duc Giang Chemicals, Information Corps, Ho Chi Minh City, Hung Yen, Long Son Thanh Hoa Cement, Vietinbank and LPBank Ninh Binh (host).
Each team will compete in the remaining 2 matches of the group stage to determine their position before entering the final round or the relegation match. At the end of the first phase, the Ho Chi Minh City Police men's team and LPBank Ninh Binh women's team are leading with 5 wins.
The last time Ninh Binh province organized the National Volleyball Championship was in 2022. At that time, the LPBank Ninh Binh men's team won the championship. This year, each team that wins the men's and women's events will continue to receive a prize of 500 million VND from the Organizing Committee.
