The Vietnam women's volleyball team has registered striker Nguyen Thi Phuong in the list of 14 players participating in the second phase of the 2025 SEA V.League.
In the recently concluded first leg in Thailand, Nguyen Thi Phuong did not compete. However, to increase the attacking power of the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team, head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet has chosen Nguyen Thi Phuong to the list. At the same time, the coaching staff did not register player Nguyen Ninh Anh to participate in the second phase of the tournament.

Previously, Nguyen Thi Phuong was on the list of 14 players participating in the AVC Nations Cup 2025, VTV Cup 2025 and played at some points. This player participated in the Shanghai Future Stars 2025 (China) friendly tournament of the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team.
The Vietnam women's volleyball team won two matches (against Indonesia, Philippines) and one loss (against Thailand) in the first phase of the 2025 SEA V.League.
We are in second place overall. However, the goal of the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team is to find an opportunity to take the lead in the second stage, which will be held at the Ninh Binh Provincial Gymnasium from August 8 to August 10.

Thus, in the second phase of the 2025 SEA V.League, we have four main attackers: captain Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Nguyen Thi Uyen, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh and Nguyen Thi Phuong.
