According to the plan to prepare for the new season, the ancient capital team is rearranging the professional apparatus to meet the licensing requirements of the organizers as well as towards the goal of competing in the V.League.
Previously, Mr. Vu Tien Thanh was reinforced from Hoang Anh Gia Lai club to hold the role of interim coach during the period when the team faced difficulties in form. His main task was to stabilize the organization, improve the playing style and fighting spirit of the whole team.
In the new phase, Mr. Vu Tien Thanh will take on the position of technical director, while direct professional direction will be assigned to coach Bae Ji-won.
The reassignment of positions in the coaching staff of Ninh Binh club is related to the requirement for coaching qualifications according to the 2026-2027 season licensing regulations. In case of participating in continental arenas, the head coach is required to possess a coaching certificate issued by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Coach Bae Ji-won meets this criterion.
The combination of a technical director who understands Vietnamese football and a foreign coach is expected to help Ninh Binh club stabilize its force, aiming for the goal of competing in domestic leagues in the near future.
