On November 5, a press conference was held in Hanoi to announce the 2025 Victory Cup. This is an event likened to "Oscar Sports Vietnam" organized by VTVcab, Vietcontent Company in coordination with the Department of Physical Education and Sports.
Since the first season in 2015, the Victory Cup has become the most prestigious award in the Vietnamese sports industry, recognizing more than 100 outstanding faces, from sports legends to young stars reaching the continental and world level.
Names such as Nguyen Thi Anh Vien, Quach Thi Lan, Nguyen Huy Hoang, Do Hung Dung, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Hoang Xuan Vinh, Nguyen Quang Hai... have repeatedly stepped onto the podium of the Victory Cup, creating a "member museum" of Vietnamese sports over a decade.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet - Director of the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports shared: "The Victory Cup is not just an award, it is a symbol of perseverance, the will to rise and the pride of Vietnam in the international arena.
Over the past 10 years, the tournament has become a motivation and a prestigious destination for all Vietnamese athletes. 10 years of the Victory Cup are not only a milestone for Vietnamese sports, but also a testament to the journey of creativity and innovation in honoring people. The Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports is very happy to accompany the units to bring athletes and fans a real annual sports festival".
The 2025 Victory Cup continues to maintain 11 voting categories, comprehensively reflecting the fields of Vietnamese sports including: Male Athlete of the Year; Female Athlete of the Year; Young Athlete of the Year; Coach of the Year; Team of the Year; Team of the Year; Most Favorite Athlete; Outstanding Sports Athlete for the Disabled of the Year; Impressive Sports Image and Moments of the Year; Lifetime Achievement Award; Outstanding Foreign Expert of the Year.
With 11 categories, the award can meet the goal of recognizing and honoring in the most comprehensive way, starting with the ASEAN Cup championship of the men's football team, then a series of bright international achievements such as 2 Asian gold medals of swimmer Nguyen Huy Hoang and ending with a 33rd SEA Games that was carefully prepared and promised to explode.
Notably, based on the reality associated with the characteristics of the Victory Cup, the Organizing Committee decided to finalize the nomination list of the categories and conduct a post- SEA Games 33 (from December 9-20, 2025) to select the most outstanding and deserving collectives and individuals.

The award includes 2 voting rounds: round 1 for audiences and fans nationwide; round 2 is voted by the Voting Council consisting of prestigious managers, experts and sports journalists according to a strict and transparent process and method.
At the announcement ceremony, the Organizing Committee also awarded the award for outstanding overcoming difficulties to disabled swimmer Pham Tuan Hung, taken from the award for the category of Impressive Images and Moments of the 2024 Victory Cup (50% awarded to the author and 50% awarded to overcoming difficulties).
The Victory Cup Award Gala is scheduled to take place in early February 2025 and will be broadcast live on the Victory Cup fanpage, sports TV channels and online under VTVcab, social networking channels webthethao.vn under Vietcontent.
