On the afternoon of August 18, in Hanoi, the Vietnam People's Police (CAND) Sports Association in coordination with T&T Group organized a ceremony to commend the CAND table tennis team after their outstanding achievements at the X National Sports Festival.
At the Congress, CAND table tennis won 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 3 bronze medals, thereby leading the overall team.
3 gold medals belonged to Dinh Anh Hoang - Le Dinh Duc (men's doubles), Dinh Anh Hoang (men's singles) and Tran Mai Ngoc (women's singles). Notably, CAND simultaneously won the championship in the men's and women's singles events, something that no club has done in history.
Dinh Anh Hoang once lost to Doan Ba Tuan Anh 0-3 in the team event, but when facing his opponent again in the final, the CAND player won 4-0 to defend the championship.
Meanwhile, Tran Mai Ngoc successively surpassed Nguyen Thi Nga and Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh - two national women's singles champions of the last two seasons to win the cup.

Accordingly, T&T Group decided to reward more than 2.2 billion VND to 3 coaches and 10 athletes of the CAND table tennis team after their achievements at the X National Sports Games and the National Youth, Teenager and Children's Table Tennis Tournament held in Da Nang before that.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Do Quang Hien - Chairman of T&T Group said: "Watching this tournament, I was also very nervous, but in the last minute I achieved a proud achievement. For the first time at a congress, a club won a gold medal in men's and women's singles, this achievement is very prestigious. With great will and spirit, the athletes won and became champions.
In addition to the achievements at the Games, before that, the young CAND athletes also had a successful youth tournament when they won 17 gold medals and the overall first place. I highly welcome and appreciate this achievement.
I hope you will always strive, focus on training, live in moderation, and be more determined to maintain high achievements and conquer new achievements in regional and continental tournaments".

The bonus is a recognition of competition achievements, and at the same time creates more resources for the CAND table tennis team to continue preparing for the next goals. T&T Group said it will continue to accompany the Ministry of Public Security, the CAND Sports Association and the table tennis team in the direction of long-term investment, focusing on training successor forces.
This cooperation model has been implemented since May 2024, when the People's Police Sports Association and T&T Group signed an agreement on the selection and training of table tennis athletes.
In the first year, CAND table tennis won 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals at the 2024 national championship; in 2025 there were 3 gold medals and in 2026 it topped the overall team at the Congress.
Head coach Vu Manh Cuong said that combining state and business resources helps the team have more conditions for facilities, training, coaching and competition.
