Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet decided to add former player Ha Thi Hoa to the list of participants in the second phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship.
The presence of former player Ha Thi Hoa is the force majeure of the Vietinbank women's team. Because the main striker Dang Thi Hong (who played in the first stage) was not allowed by the Vietnam Volleyball Federation to participate in the second phase of the 2025 National Championship. Therefore, Ha Thi Hoa was called back to compete.
Currently, former player Ha Thi Hoa has moved to become a youth coach of the Vietinbank team. She is a player who plays as a setter in the 2nd position, and has played for the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team for many years. At the age of 40, Ha Thi Hoa has not competed in top-level volleyball for many years, but she is ready to return to the field to work when the Vietinbank team's coaching staff requires.
Previously, in early 2025, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet also did not have the service of former setter Nguyen Thu Hoai because she transferred her work to work in an office job and give birth.
In phase 2, Vietinbank team hired Russian foreign player Anna Belyanskaya. Currently, the team is ranked fourth in the women's event and has many opportunities to enter the final round if they play well in the second stage.
Phase 2 of the 2025 National Championship will kick off on October 7 at Ninh Binh Provincial Gymnasium.
