Despite losing the match, the Vietnamese women's handball team was still noticed when it left a historic moment.
This is the first time Vietnamese Sports has officially participated in handball at an ASIAD.
In many previous ASIADs, Vietnamese Sports did not register to compete in handball.
However, at ASIAD 20, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation gave the opportunity to the Vietnamese Women's Handball Team to compete.
Therefore, playing at Aichi-Nagoya (Japan) has helped Vietnamese women's handball players achieve professional results for the first time at ASIAD.

If there is this achievement, the Vietnam Handball Federation will award a "hot" bonus of 100 million VND to the Vietnamese Women's Handball Team.
