Ho Chi Minh City Club closed the group stage of the 2024-2025 AFC Champions League Women's League with 2 wins and 1 loss, winning a ticket to the quarterfinals as second place in Group C.

This achievement helped Ho Chi Minh City Club receive 220,000 USD (nearly 5.5 billion VND) in bonus from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). This amount includes 40,000 USD for 2 wins against Taichung Blue Whale (Taiwan (China)) and Odisha (India), 100,000 USD for participating in the group stage and 80,000 USD for reaching the quarter-finals.

If they win the quarter-finals and reach the semi-finals, coach Nguyen Hong Pham's students will continue to receive an additional 120,000 USD.

The quarter-finals of the 2024-2025 AFC Champions League will take place on March 22 and 23, 2025.

Ho Chi Minh City Club is in the process of negotiating a contract extension with striker Huynh Nhu to continue playing in the quarter-finals. Huynh Nhu's contract with the team named after Uncle Ho's city will only last until the end of 2024.

In addition, coach Nguyen Hong Pham also expressed his desire to continue working with three American foreign players: midfielder Tatiana Mason, center back Talani Barnet and striker Root Medhan Callahan.
