Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club has identified the opponents in the group stage of the 2025-2026 AFC Champions League for women.

On the afternoon of September 11, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) held a draw for the group stage of the 2025-2026 AFC Champions League for women.

According to the results, HCMC women's club is in Group A with Melbourne City (Australia), Stallion Laguna (Philippines) and Lion City Sailors (Singapore). Huynh Nhu and her teammates will play at home during this period.

Coach Doan Thi Kim Chi commented: In this group, in addition to the representative of Australia as a strong opponent and potential candidate, Stallion Laguna and Lion City Sailors also have many naturalized and foreign players. Therefore, overcoming them will not be simple. However, the whole team will try to qualify when they have the advantage of playing at home.

The 2025-2026 AFC Champions League for women has 12 participating teams, divided into 3 groups. Each group will focus on a country including Myanmar (November 9-15), Vietnam (November 13-19), and China (November 27-23). Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club is ranked in seed group No. 2.

At the end of the group stage, 8 teams including 2 leading teams in each group and 2 third-placed teams with the best results will qualify for the quarter-finals. The quarter-final matches will be determined by draw, competing in a round-robin format in March 2026.
