However, the manager could not find a suitable training location in Japan. At the same time, the units contacted could not arrange training time for the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team at the above time in Japan. Therefore, the coaching staff will train the players full-time in the country.
The Vietnam women's volleyball team started training in Quang Ninh at this time. According to research, in case the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team cannot go abroad for training, they can practice for a short time in the Southern region to change the atmosphere for the players.
Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet has focused on 20 players at this time. Players Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, Pham Quynh Huong, Bui Thi Anh Thao, Vi Thi Yen Nhi, Le Thuy Linh will gather late because they are competing in the final round of the 2025 National A-League in Ha Tinh (closing on November 1).
In May, when launching the sponsor of the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team, head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet expressed great hope that his player would go to Japan for professional training.
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team has not trained abroad in recent years. In preparation for the 31st and 32nd SEA Games, the players will only practice domestically and compete in a number of international tournaments to improve their skills.
Since the beginning of 2025, the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team has participated in international tournaments including AVC Nations Cup 2025, VTV Cup 2025, Shanghai Future Stars 2025, World Championship 2025, SEA V.League 2025.
In particular, the 2025 SEA V.League brings together the top Southeast Asian teams including Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia.
Regarding the nutritional regime for players of the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team in this training session, the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports still maintains the decision that 16 members (including 4 coaches) of the team will receive a special nutritional regime of 480,000 VND/person/day to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games and 8 members will receive a national team training regime of 320,000 VND/person/day. The nutritional regime is implemented according to Circular No. 86/2020/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance applied from October 26, 2020 on detailed regulations on special nutritional regimes for high-performance sports coaches and high-performance sports athletes.
