On the morning of October 29, Hung Yen Provincial Police initially informed about the fire of a LPG tank truck that occurred in Lac Dao Commune, Hung Yen Province on the evening of October 28, 2025.
Accordingly, at 7:01 p.m. on October 28, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Hung Yen Provincial Police) received a report from local residents about a fire in a tank carrying liquefied petroleum gas with license plate 29C-677.01 on Road 206, Pho Noi A Industrial Park, Lac Dao Commune. The vehicle was driven by Mr. N.V.D (born in 1987, residing in Nguyen Giap commune, Hai Phong city).
Initial information said that during the trip, the tanker truck collided with a barrier with a height limit, causing a fire in the gas tank, the fire then spread to a 2.5-ton truck nearby.
As soon as the news was received, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Force mobilized 5 fire trucks and 33 officers and soldiers to the scene, deployed spraying water to cool down, prevent explosion and extinguish the fire. By 20: 06 on the same day, the fire was completely controlled.
As a result, driver N.V.D was injured and taken to the National Burn Hospital for treatment; both vehicles were damaged.
Currently, the police are investigating and clarifying the cause of the fire to handle it according to the law.
