Under the guidance of coach Mai Duc Chung, the list of 27 athletes has been sent to the Department of Physical Education and Sports. Notably, there will be no players from the Ho Chi Minh City team in this training session, due to focusing on competing in the 2025-2026 Asian Women's Club Championship in November.
As part of the coaching staff, coach Mai Duc Chung continues to have the support of experienced coaches such as Doan Minh Hai, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh and fitness coach Cedric Serge Christian Roger along with a doctor.

Sharing about personnel issues before the training session, coach Mai Duc Chung said this is the third training session in 2025 to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand. This training session has many promising young faces of women's football in recent tournaments.
"We hope that those friends and sisters who have practiced all their best will strive to be on the list of participants in the upcoming SEA Games, in the context that veteran players who are also old always want to give up their positions to talented young players.
The coaching staff also hopes that the young players will progress quickly to catch up, while always creating conditions for them to strive, coach Mai Duc Chung shared.
Mr. Chung said that the goal of the national women's team at the upcoming SEA Games is still to win the highest position.

According to the plan, the whole team will gather at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center (Hanoi) on the morning of October 21 and take the field for the first training session in the afternoon of the same day. On November 20, the national women's team will go to Japan for training and is expected to have 3 friendly matches with the Japanese women's teams.
