On the afternoon of May 5, in Ho Chi Minh City, the organizers of the VTV9 - Binh Dien International Women's Volleyball Tournament shared information about the tournament.
The tournament is organized by the Vietnam Volleyball Federation in coordination with the Southern Vietnam Television Center, Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tay Ninh province.
The 15th VTV9 - Binh Dien International Women's Volleyball Tournament 2026 will have the participation of 8 domestic and foreign teams, taking place from May 15 to 23, at Tay Ninh Provincial Sports Center. This is one of the most quality and prestigious women's volleyball tournaments in Vietnam, attracting the participation of strong domestic and foreign clubs.
This year, the VTV9 - Binh Dien 2026 Women's Volleyball Cup has 5 domestic teams participating: VTV Binh Dien Long An, LPB Ninh Binh, Binh Chung Thong Tin, Hanoi Tasco Auto and VietinBank. Meanwhile, 3 international guest teams include Gunma Green Wings (Japan), Suwon City (Korea) and Jiangsu (China).

The draw results put VTV Binh Dien Long An, Jiangsu, Binh Chung Thong Tin and Vietinbank teams in Group A. This is a group that is assessed to have fierce competition because the teams all possess uniform forces, many stars and have extensive playing experience.
Group B has the participation of LPB Ninh Binh, Gunma Green Wings, Suwon City and Hanoi Tasco Auto. The appearance of two representatives of Japan and Korea makes the group situation more unpredictable. In which, Gunma Green Wings is the team that main attacker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy played for in the 2025-2026 season.

The total prize value this year is estimated at over 1.2 billion VND. In addition to team prizes, the organizers also awarded individual prizes to the best athlete of the tournament; best main attacker, middle blocker, opposite hitter, setter and libero of the tournament. In addition, the organizers will also vote for the beauty queen of the tournament.
In the VTV9 - Binh Dien 2024 Women's Volleyball Cup, the Japanese PFU BlueCats team won the championship after defeating LPB Ninh Binh 3-1 in the final. Meanwhile, the Information Corps team ranked third after overcoming VTV Binh Dien Long An.
