"We consider the tournament to be held in a new format, creating competition for teams. However, each stage has different professional significance, so not every match creates good expertise" - coach Tran Dinh Tien expressed after the men's final.

In reality, not every locality can create attraction for spectators to enter the stadium to cheer for the match. If the stands were not empty, we would think the tournament would not be complete, said a representative of the refereeing committee of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship.
According to the coaches in the second phase organized at Ninh Binh Provincial Gymnasium, having to keep safety to stay in the league or win the championship makes the teams calculate very carefully, so this tournament is really attractive, creating drama. At the end of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, the Organizing Committee honored the two champion teams for men and women. These are the teams that deserve to win the championship trophy this year.
National championship gets attention
At the end of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, members of the Professional Supervisory Board must have practical assessments in all aspects such as professional work, referees, tournament organization, communication, match quality... sent to the Organizing Committee. Their evaluation is part of the proof for the organizer to grasp how much attention this year's tournament is paid.
Currently, the number of spectators watching volleyball matches at the 2025 National Championship on social networking platforms and live television is large. The number of fans commenting on photos and competition results of each match on volleyball forums on social networks is very large. The attraction of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship is still significant. For a tournament to be more complete and more professional, the organizer still has to ensure many stages. In particular, the competition schedule and competition format must be suitable for the teams.
"The 2025 National Volleyball Championship will compete in a new format. The group stage will be played in a round-robin format. Next, the teams compete in the decisive stage of competing for the championship and the relegation spot. In the relegation battle, there may still be problems when the Organizing Committee considers the performance of the teams based on the number of wins before calculating the points to determine the final result, said some professional coaches. After that, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation will learn from experience in organizing the 2025 National Volleyball Championship and start building a more suitable competition regulations for the 2026 National Championship.
General Secretary of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation Le Tri Truong once said that the 2026 National Volleyball Championship is expected to continue to organize 2 competition phases as at present.
