The Ca Mau Marathon 2026 is one of the activities within the framework of the 2nd Ca Mau Shrimp Festival in 2026. The event is organized to spread the movement of sports training, and at the same time contribute to promoting the image, people and local tourism.
According to the organizers, this year's tournament is expected to have about 7,000 professional and amateur domestic and international athletes participating. This scale is an increase of more than 1,000 athletes compared to the previous season.
Male and female athletes will compete in 4 distances including Full Marathon 42.195km, Half Marathon 21km, 10km and 5km. In addition, the organizers organize an additional 2km Family Fun Run for families with children from 6 to 15 years old.

The starting and finishing points of the distances are arranged at Phan Ngoc Hien square, Le Duan street, An Xuyen ward, Ca Mau province. The competition routes pass through An Xuyen ward, Ho Thi Ky commune and Khanh An commune.
According to the schedule, on November 13th, athletes can receive competition items and get acquainted with the track. This activity continues on November 14th. The 2km Family Fun Run is scheduled to start at 4 pm on the same day.
The opening ceremony of the tournament will be held at 8:00 PM on November 14th at Phan Ngoc Hien Square.
On November 15, the main competition events will take place. The Full Marathon distance of 42.195km starts at 3:30 am, Half Marathon 21km at 5 am, 10km at 5:30 am and 5km at 6 am.
Besides professional factors, the Ca Mau Marathon 2026 is expected to become an opportunity to introduce the landscape and unique features of the southernmost land of the Fatherland. The running route through many areas of the locality helps athletes have more experiences about Ca Mau's culture, life and people.
Through the tournament, the organizers also aim to promote typical products and cuisine, thereby combining sports activities with tourism development and creating more highlights for the 2nd Ca Mau Shrimp Festival in 2026.
