The 2025 Ca Mau Marathon is an activity within the "Ca Mau - Destination 2025" program, accompanying the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival in 2025. The event was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province in coordination with Vietrace365 Joint Stock Company, aiming to promote the mass sports movement, while promoting the local image.
According to the plan, the tournament will take place on November 15 and 16, 2025, starting at Hung Vuong Square, Bac Lieu Ward (Ca Mau Province).
It is expected that more than 6,000 domestic and foreign athletes will participate in the distances of 42km, 21km, 10km, 5km and 2km (for children). The running route is designed without overlap, ensuring traffic safety and competition conditions, in which the 42km distance will pass through the wind power field area - a typical highlight of Ca Mau.
The tournament has the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group (PETROVIETNAM) as the brand sponsor, along with diamond sponsors including Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Gas Corporation and Ca Mau Petroleum Power Company.
The 2025 PETROVIETNAM Cup is considered a large-scale sporting event of the Southwest region, contributing to spreading the health training movement and promoting the image of Ca Mau to tourists.
