According to the program announced on May 12, the two sides will coordinate to focus on developing the sports movement in the People's Police force, focusing on basketball and pickleball, aiming to improve the physical strength, spirit and performance of officers and soldiers.
At the same time, the program content aims to gradually build a high-performance sports system, form a source of professional athletes in the People's Police Force (CAND), meet domestic and international competition requirements, and move towards building a club model operating according to professional sports standards.
CAND Pickleball Club, within the framework of cooperation, has been and is operating under a professional model, aiming to participate in international tournament systems such as PPA Tour Asia, APES Games.
The Young People's Police Pickleball Club has also been selected and developed, creating a foundation for training successor athletes for high-performance sports in the People's Police sector. Along with that, People's Police Basketball is being formed and developed in People's Police schools. Athletes are selected, trained and developed to participate in domestic tournaments.
In the field of sports movement development, the two sides will coordinate to organize activities, training programs and mass tournament systems for basketball and pickleball subjects suitable to actual conditions; contributing to improving the spirit of training and discovering potential factors; gradually improving and upgrading facilities serving sports activities in the People's Public Security Forces.
After the Cultural School project (Department of Training - Ministry of Public Security), the construction of sports fields at facilities in the industry and the implementation of internal training programs will continue to be promoted at training units: People's Security Academy; People's Police Academy; People's Police Political Academy; Academy of Technology and Security Technology; University of Fire Prevention and Fighting; Department of Training, Ministry of Public Security; People's Police College I; People's Security College I.
At the same time, the tournament system, following the success of the 2025 Northern People's Police Pickleball Tournament, will be organized and ready to form an annual series of tournaments with increasingly large scale and diverse disciplines.
Through the coordination program, the two units aim to implement many important coordination contents to improve the quality of training and competition, contributing to promoting the professional development and international integration of CAND sports.
