After many rumors, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet officially became the captain of Hanoi Tasco Auto club - a newcomer at the 2026 National Volleyball Championship.
Last season, Mr. Kiet led Vietinbank to win 4th place in the national league. Meanwhile, Hanoi club won the National League A in 2025, and then qualified for the National Championship 2026.
The goal of the Capital team is to be in the group of 3 teams with the best achievements in 2026. Therefore, recruiting coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet is considered a strategic step.
Currently, the Hanoi women's team is training at the Hanoi Sports Training and Competition Training Center. The team has successfully recruited 3 "huge" new players: libero Nguyen Khanh Dang (VTV Binh Dien Long An), Vi Thi Nhu Quynh (Quang Ninh), Le Thanh Thuy (LPB Ninh Binh).
Previously, the Hanoi Volleyball Federation was established in 2025. Therefore, Hanoi's volleyball teams have been accompanied by some socialized sources to feel secure in competing to achieve professional achievements.
With the appearance of coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and a quality squad, Hanoi Tasco club promises to bring formidable competitiveness next season.
According to the schedule, the 2026 National Championship is organized in 2 phases. The first phase takes place at Dong Anh Gymnasium (Hanoi) from April 6 to April 19, 2026.
