Coach Pham Van Long has selected 14 official players of the Information Corps to participate in the second phase of the 2025 National Championship in Ninh Binh.
Accordingly, the list of players includes Pham Thi Nguyet Anh, Nguyen Thi Phuong, Irinavoronkova, Pham Quynh Huong, Nguyen Huynh Phuong Thuy (main blocker), Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh, Ngo Thi Bich Hue (opposite setter), Luu Thi Ly Ly Ly, Ngo Thi Suong (libero), Doan Thi Lam Oanh, Lai Thi Khanh Huyen (second setter) and Pham Thi Hien, Nguyen Nhu Quynh, Vu Hong Thao Huong. Thus, veteran faces such as Nguyen Linh Chi and Bui Thi Nga will not participate in the second phase of this year's tournament.
In the Information Corps squad, Russian foreign player Irinavoronkova is the most notable hitter. The player has become acquainted with his teammates while in Vietnam.
In addition, the main striker Pham Quynh Huong is the best hitter of the 2025 National Youth Volleyball Championship and the 2025 National Youth Volleyball Club Cup, which is expected to have the opportunity to compete.
Currently, the Information Corps team has 2 main setter players from the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team (Doan Thi Lam Oanh) and the Vietnam U21 Team (Lai Thi Khanh Huyen).
The army team is expected to arrive in Ninh Binh on October 1 to prepare professionally before the tournament starts on October 7. After appointing Mr. Pham Van Long as head coach from the beginning of 2025, the Information Corps team aims to reach the finals of this year's tournament. In phase 2, this team will play the last 2 matches of the group stage against host LPBank Ninh Binh and Hung Yen.
The last time the Information Corps team entered the final and won the national championship was in 2021.
