The HDBank National Futsal Cup 2026 officially opened on the afternoon of September 5 at Lanh Binh Thang Gymnasium (Binh Thoi ward, Ho Chi Minh City), with the participation of 8 clubs.
This year's opening ceremony marks the 10th consecutive year that Voice of Vietnam (VOV) has coordinated with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), along with the companionship of Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank), to organize and develop the national futsal tournament system.
This year's tournament takes place from September 5 to 14 at Lanh Binh Thang Gymnasium. 8 participating teams include Thai Son Nam TPHCM, Thai Son Bac, Sahako, Hanoi, Tan Hiep Hung TPHCM, Saigon Titans TPHCM, Luxury Ha Long and Tre TPHCM.
8 teams are divided into 2 groups, playing in a single round-robin to calculate points. The top two teams in each group qualify for the semi-finals. The top two teams in third place compete for 5th place, while the bottom two teams in the group compete for 7th place.
With a focused competition format, the National Cup is considered a highly competitive playground. Especially in the knockout round, a mistake or a moment of lack of concentration can cause the team to stop.
The champion team of this year's tournament will receive the Cup, gold medal, title board and 200 million VND. The runner-up team will receive 100 million VND, the third-placed team will receive 50 million VND. Individual prizes include Best Player, Top Scorer and Best Goalkeeper, each prize worth 10 million VND.
The HDBank National Futsal Cup 2026 tournament will take place until September 14, promising to bring competitive matches and continue to create opportunities for domestic futsal players to rub shoulders and improve their expertise.
