This year's tournament attracted the participation of 6 teams from Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore. This is an opportunity for young players, including prominent faces from the National U19 teams, to demonstrate their talents on the international stage.

The tournament lasts from March 22 to 30. The six teams are divided into 2 groups competing in a round-robin. Group A includes Ton Duc Thang University, Life University (Cambodia) and Laos University. Group B includes Thanh Hoa University of Culture - Sports and Tourism (reigning champion of the 2025 Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament), Nanyang University of Technology (Singapore) and the University of Malaysia.
The tournament has a total prize value of up to 15,000 USD, with 6,000 USD for the champion team, 4,000 USD for the runner-up team and 2,000 USD for the 3rd place team. In addition, individual awards such as Best Player, Best Top Scorer and Best Goalkeeper were also awarded along with other awards.

In the first match after the opening ceremony, although the start was a bit smooth with the opening goal from Huy Duong in the 18th minute, the home team Ton Duc Thang University could not maintain the advantage. Life University had a spectacular comeback.
In the 53rd minute, Kea Piseth brought the match into balance with an equalizer of 1-1, exploiting the home team's mistake. Then, in just 20 minutes, Sopheak and Makara scored two more goals, helping the other team take a 3-1 lead, and ended with a dramatic victory.

With this result, Life University is on the verge of reaching the semi-finals, while Ton Duc Thang University is facing the risk of being eliminated from the group stage in the tournament held at home.
